Nehru College Of Arts & Science Observed Hiroshima Day on 6th August 2023. Principal Dr.Madhusudhanan Pillai addressed the students about the Hiroshima Day which holds a significant position in the history as it remembers the day when an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945, causing immense destruction and loss of lives.This day reminds us the devastating consequences of war and the need of peace and the nuclear disarmament. This day plays a significant role in promoting understanding, reconciliation and a more peaceful future. A general knowledge quiz was also conducted which witnessed active participation.
